Lynn Bechler Will Stand Up For Our Communities!
Lynn's legislative record speaks for itself.
“As a State Representative, I fought to protect the constitution while advancing conservative goals. Our district deserves a leader who will fight tirelessly for its interests."
Lynn is tired of excuses. He is ready to advocate for policies that better the lives of hard working Kentuckians throughout the district and Kentucky.
Lynn’s Policy Stances
Pro-Life
Lynn is committed to protecting the unborn. As a grandparent, Lynn understands that life is precious and is appalled by the lengths at which the abortion lobby will go to attack innocent children. As your next State Senator, Lynn will fight against efforts to encourage abortion in Kentucky. Specifically, Lynn will fight against the growing use of dangerous chemical abortions.
Pro-Second Amendment
As your next State Senator, Lynn will fight against efforts to institute red flag laws in Kentucky. Red flag laws seek to reduce due process and create unsafe situations for our families based simply on suspicion. The United States Constitution is clear that the right to bear arms shall not be infringed. It’s that simple.
Public Safety
Our children should be able to feel safe as they walk down the street. Across the Commonwealth, murder rates have risen steadily especially in Lexington and Louisville. That is unacceptable.
As your State Senator, Lynn will make public safety his top priority. Lynn will encourage investment in the tools and training that our first responders receive. By partnering with law enforcement, we will be able to ensure that they have the support that they need to keep our families safe.
Education
Despite having high graduation levels, many students throughout Kentucky are failing to meet reading and math standards. As your next State Senator, Lynn will work with local stakeholders to create better outcomes for our children. Additionally, our local schools are unable to retain and recruit teachers. Lynn will advocate for additional investment from the general assembly to incentivize teaching staff to work within our local schools and ensure student success. Lastly, Lynn will support efforts to increase educational opportunities for all students. He understands that a child’s future should not be determined by their zip code.
Infrastructure
Whether it be the interstate, countless state highways, or neighborhood streets, our infrastructure is the backbone of our society. Without it, we would be unable to drive to work, stock our grocery stores, or transport industrial products. Unfortunately, our country and state are experiencing disturbing trends in relation to infrastructure. Many bridges and roads built during the middle of the twentieth century are degrading at an alarming rate. That’s why Lynn is committed to working with the general assembly to ensure significant infrastructure investments are made within the first district. With well maintained roads, we will be able to keep our community safe and prosperous.
Economic Growth
As we watch Nashville grow, we must look inward to determine how we can also succeed economically. Our citizens deserve to have quality careers that empower them to be happy and successful. As your next State Senator, Lynn will work in Frankfort to create public policy solutions that empower entrepreneurs and workers to have better options. Lastly, Lynn will support tax policy which empowers taxpayers to invest within their own communities.
